This paper presents studies of magnetic multilayer structures and the advantages of Molecular Beam Epitaxy (MBE) for fabricating these systems. It discusses interlayer exchange coupling, growth-induced defects, and surface morphology, analyzing the impact of growth methods like MBE and sputtering on giant magnetoresistance (GMR) in Co/Cu multilayers. The study demonstrates how growth conditions affect magnetic properties and interlayer exchange mechanisms.
