This study evaluates the structural characteristics of rivers in Tehran province. It involved analyzing 415 streams across 25 zones based on topographic and hydrographic data. The research examined river structures such as bridges, terraces, diversion dams, floor dams, slope breakers, dikes, and epi features. The frequency and distribution of these structures were assessed qualitatively and quantitatively using ARC GIS software and field surveys. Results show that bridges are the most abundant structures while dikes are the least. This data supports river management and flood control planning in the region.
