Abstract

Push-gravity is an alternative theory to General Relativity, dating back to Fatio and Le Sage, who proposed gravity results from an imbalance of particle streams. This article revisits their idea using the modern concept of cosmic background radiation. The gravitational push force due to shielding from this radiation is derived using antenna theory (Friis equation). The model is tested by verifying that the resulting condition matches Kepler’s third law (v²r ≈ 1.3×10¹¹ km³/s) for planetary motion, indicating that cosmic radiation push might play a role in gravitation.
